Rubble & Crew Diamond Painting

Our Rubble & Crew diamond painting kits put the construction pup and his crew on a sparkling canvas. Pick from 13 designs, from brick houses and excavators to skate parks and sandcastles. Each kit comes complete with adhesive canvas, drills, pen and tray, and you choose round or square drills on the product page.

Choosing your Rubble & Crew diamond painting kit

The 13 designs in this collection follow Rubble and his construction crew through different jobs and moods. Some canvases show a building project in progress, others a quiet moment or a day out. Looking at the scene first helps you pick a kit that matches the person who will make it, or the room where the finished picture will hang.

Construction scenes with machines and tools

If you like work-site action, several designs show the crew at their jobs. Rubble Building a Brick House with Crew and Rubble and Crew Digging with an Excavator center on the building work itself. Rubble and the Construction Crew with Cement Mixer Truck and Rubble and His Construction Crew with Tools put the vehicles and equipment front and center. Rubble and Crew Fixing the River Bridge adds water and structure to the scene. These canvases suit anyone who enjoys placing drills in clearly defined shapes.

Outdoor adventures and play

Other kits take the crew out of the work zone. Rubble Building a Treehouse with the Crew, Rubble and Crew Building a Sandcastle at the Beach, Playground Adventure with Rubble and the Crew and Rubble and Crew Building a Skate Park show playtime scenes. Rubble and Crew Snow Plow Adventure brings a winter setting with a different color range. These work well for a child's room because the scenes are easy to read from across the room.

Quieter moments with the crew

Rubble and the Construction Crew at Sunset uses warmer tones for the sky. Rubble and Crew Lunch Break on Steel Beam and Rubble and the Construction Crew Waving give you a relaxed, character-focused picture. If you want something for a shelf or a desk wall, these are good starting points.

What is in each kit

Every Rubble & Crew kit includes the printed adhesive canvas with symbols, numbered bags of drills, the applicator pen, wax and a tray. The symbols on the canvas match the numbers on the bags, so you always know which color goes where. You do not need to buy anything else to start.

Round or square drills

You choose the drill shape on the product page. Round drills are easy to pick up and place, and they give a sparkly, textured finish. Square drills sit edge to edge with no gaps, which gives a smooth, mosaic-like surface. Large areas of flat color, such as the sky or a yellow machine, look especially neat with square drills. If you have never made a kit before, round drills are a comfortable first choice.

Picking a size

Each product page lists the available sizes. A smaller canvas finishes sooner and suits a first project or a child working with a parent. A larger one gives you more detail in faces, tools and backgrounds, and takes more evenings to complete. Think about the wall space before you order, since the finished picture will look best when it is not squeezed into a corner.

Making a Rubble & Crew kit as a family

These designs are fun to make together, parent and child, or solo from around age 8. The large areas of color fill quickly, so progress shows early, which keeps younger makers interested. An adult can set up the canvas, sort the bags and help with the first rows. After that, a child can place drills in the big yellow and orange sections while the adult handles smaller details.

Work in small sections. Peel back only part of the protective film, place the drills for that area, then uncover the next. This keeps the adhesive clean and the canvas free of dust and hair. Dip the pen tip in the wax, pick up a drill and press it onto the matching symbol. A flat tray keeps the drills from rolling.

Displaying your finished picture

A finished Rubble & Crew canvas looks bright on a bedroom wall, in a playroom or above a desk. Press the drills down firmly once you finish so they sit level. A frame protects the surface and keeps the edges straight. Keep the picture out of strong direct sunlight to help the colors stay true.

Questions fréquentes

What age is a Rubble & Crew diamond painting kit suitable for?

These kits are fun for a parent and child to make together, or for a child working alone from around age 8. Younger children can help with the large color areas while an adult handles setup and the smaller details.

What comes in a Rubble & Crew diamond painting kit?

Each kit has a printed adhesive canvas with symbols, numbered bags of drills, an applicator pen, wax and a tray. Everything you need to start is in the box, so there is nothing extra to buy before you begin.

Should I choose round or square drills?

Round drills are easy to handle and give a sparkly finish, which makes them a good choice for a first kit. Square drills sit tightly together for a smooth, mosaic look. You pick the shape on each product page.

Which Rubble & Crew design should I start with?

For a quick, satisfying project, choose a design with big areas of solid color, such as the machines in the excavator or cement mixer scenes. If you prefer a calmer picture, the sunset and lunch break designs are relaxed to work on.

How do I keep the canvas clean while I work?

Peel back only the section you are working on and leave the rest of the protective film in place. Re-cover the canvas when you stop. This keeps dust and hair off the adhesive so each drill sticks firmly.
