PJ Masks Diamond Painting

Our PJ Masks diamond painting kits put Catboy, Owlette and Gekko on your canvas, from rooftop chases to moonlit team poses. Each design keeps the bold colors and clean outlines of the show, so the symbols are easy to follow and the drills are easy to place. Every kit comes with the pen, wax and tray, and you choose your size and drill shape on the product page.

PJ Masks Diamond Painting Kits: Choosing Your Design

This collection has 20 designs, all built around the three heroes. Some show the team in action, such as running across the city, flying with the Owl-Glider or riding the Cat-Car. Others are calmer scenes, like fireflies in the park, a snowy run or a night at the beach under the stars. A kit from this range makes a good shared project because the large areas of color fill in quickly and the picture takes shape early.

Before you order, think about who will be doing most of the work and how much time they want to spend. A child who likes fast results will enjoy a scene with wide blocks of night sky. An adult who wants a longer, more absorbing project can choose a crowded scene with many small details. The sections below walk through each choice.

What is included in every kit

Each kit comes with a printed adhesive canvas marked with symbols, numbered bags of drills, an applicator pen, wax and a tray. You pick the canvas size and the drill shape, round or square, on the product page before you order. If you already own extra tools, our diamond painting accessories and tools collection has additions for longer sessions.

Round drills or square drills

Round drills are easier to pick up and place, so they suit a first project or a younger helper. They leave tiny gaps between the stones and give the picture a sparkling, textured look. Square drills sit edge to edge and cover the canvas more completely, which gives a sharper, mosaic-like finish. Both shapes work well with the flat colors in these designs.

If you are unsure, think about the person holding the pen. Round drills forgive small slips in placement. Square drills reward a steady hand with straight rows and a tidy surface, which shows most in the large areas of sky and buildings.

Picking a scene by character moment

• Action scenes: Catboy Owlette and Gekko Night City Run, Flying Heroes, Riding the Cat-Car and Flying Owl-Glider.
• Team poses: Team Pose Under the Moon, High Five Celebration and the PJ Robot Team Pose.
• Story moments: Nighttime Museum Adventure, Chasing Romeo's Robot and Playing in Bedrooms.
• Quiet night scenes: Fireflies in the Park, on a Big Tree at Night, Running in the Snow and at the Beach Under Stars.

Scenes with a lot of dark sky or city skyline use big blocks of one color, which go quickly. Scenes with several characters and small details take longer, so they suit someone who likes to settle in for a few evenings.

Choosing a size

Canvas size changes the whole experience. A smaller canvas can be finished in a few sittings and works well for a child's first kit. A larger canvas gives more room for the details of the heroes' costumes and the background, and it makes a stronger display piece. It also asks for more patience and more table space. Look at the size options on the product page and match them to the time you have and the wall where the picture will hang.

Working on it with a child

These kits work well as a parent and child project, and older children can manage one alone from around age 8. Let the child choose the scene, then split the canvas into sections. One person can place the drills while the other finds the right bag by its number. Keep the tray flat on the table and the pen close at hand. Young children should always work with an adult nearby, since the drills are small.

Short sessions tend to work best. Ten or fifteen minutes on one corner of the canvas is enough to see progress, and the child can come back to it the next day. Letting them finish a whole character, such as Gekko or Owlette, before moving on gives a clear goal and a small win along the way.

Reading the canvas and the numbered bags

The canvas is printed with symbols, and each symbol matches a numbered bag of drills. Find the symbol on the canvas, open the matching bag, pour a few drills into the tray and work from there. Closing each bag after use keeps the colors from mixing. Because the PJ Masks artwork uses clean outlines and solid colors, the borders between sections are easy to see, which helps children keep track of where they are.

Tips for a clean result

• Uncover only the part of the canvas you are working on, so the adhesive stays fresh.
• Dip the pen in the wax before you pick up drills for better grip.
• Work one symbol at a time and keep your rows straight.
• Press the drills down gently once a section is complete.
• Work on a flat, well-lit surface and keep the tray steady.

Display and gifting

A finished picture sparkles on a bedroom wall and brings the show's heroes into a child's room. Night scenes look particularly good because the dark backgrounds make the colored drills stand out. A kit also makes a simple gift for a fan of the series, since it comes with every tool included and the recipient can start right away. For a birthday, choose the scene with the character your child likes best, or pick a team pose so all three heroes appear together.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a PJ Masks diamond painting kit?

It is a craft kit where you cover a printed adhesive canvas with small resin drills, following the symbols on the canvas. When it is finished, you have a sparkling picture of Catboy, Owlette and Gekko. Each kit includes the canvas, drills, pen, wax and tray.

What age are these kits suitable for?

Children can work on them alone from around age 8. Younger children can join in with an adult who helps with the pen and the small drills. The large areas of color make the designs easy to follow for beginners of any age.

Should I choose round or square drills?

Round drills are easier to place and suit beginners. Square drills sit edge to edge for a sharper, fuller finish. You choose the shape on the product page, and both are available for these PJ Masks designs.

Which PJ Masks design is best for a first project?

Pick a scene with big areas of one color, such as a night sky or a city skyline. These fill quickly and keep a child motivated. Designs with several characters and fine details take longer and suit more patient crafters.

What do I need besides the kit?

Nothing else is required. The kit contains the adhesive canvas, numbered bags of drills, the applicator pen, wax and the tray. A flat table and good light are all you need to start.
